First Response Group | Emergency & Disaster Resources | Deployment Logistics
First Response Group Deployment Logistics is comprised of three phases. This multi-phase process ensures your emergency recovery deployment is often a major factor in the overall outcome of a successfully functioning disaster resources base camp site.
The first phase in the FRG deployment logistics plan is Client Resource Activation. Between 72 - 48 hours prior to landfall in cases of severe weather with potentially dangerous implications to your site, First Response Group will begin the process of planning and implementing the program designed for your organization. The First Response Group Activation Management team will schedule deployment within 4 hours to a secure location. In conjunction with the deployment schedule, the First Response Group call center deploys contractors within a 4 hour window, and begin mobilization of resources within a 12 hour load window.
Continuing the mutli-phase process, First Response Group focuses on Deployment to Pre-Staging Area. The staging area should be a secure location which would allow the storm or sever weather to pass. First Response Group will continue deployment upon clearing of sever weather, to the assigned base camp location. If First Response Group is a secondary support service, we will deploy directly to the base camp site.
First Response Group of Louisville KY will selectively determine the Event Site Logistics based on various factors relative to site survey. Upon setting up a security perimeter with entrance, exits, and command post, we will designate a staging area for resource delivery vehicles. All resources will be subject to security inspection to ensure organized distribution of resources, and prevent bottle necking during base camp deployment. Upon successful delivery and assignment of all delivery vehicles, First Response Group will begin loading further logistics in the command center. At all times, the chain of command will be posted.
